Job Opportunity Available in Enid!

Central National Bank in Enid has 2 part-time positions available in its Customer Service Department. Applicants must be bi-lingual in English and Spanish. Fluency in Spanish is required. Outstanding Student Recognition for 2013

We would like to recognize Kaley Jantzen as our Outstanding Business Student for 2013. Kaley received dual Associate of Applied Science degrees in both Business Management and Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Kaley served as the President of Kappa Beta Delta Honor Society, helped other students as a tutor, and assisted the Business Division as a student employee. Kaley will continue her education at Northwestern Oklahoma State University where she will pursue a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. We are very proud and wish her the best!


Summer School 

Its not too late to enroll in summer classes, late 4-week and late 6-week classes are available. Late 4-week classes start July 1 and late 6-week classes start June 17. Good luck to students attending summer school! Study hard and do well!

Degree Options

The Business Division at Northern Oklahoma College offers various types of associate degree options:

 

Business courses are offered in a variety of formats to accommodate any schedule:

  • Morning, day and evening classes at any of the Northern Oklahoma College campuses: Tonkawa, Enid and Stillwater.
  • Interactive Television (ITV) courses taught at a campus site and streamed to class rooms at the other campuses including the University Center in Ponca City.
  • Online classes available for a full 16 week semester or 8 week half semesters.
  • Faculty and staff readily available for student assistance.
  • Accellerated, self-paced, convenient and affordable.

Scholarship Opportunities

Scholarships are available for qualified applicants.  Scholarships available to Business students include:

  • Earl G. Dodson Scholarship: Must be a full-time business student carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours and must maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  • Curtis Jackson Memorial Scholarship: Must be a full-time sophomore student carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours and must maintain a 3.0 or higher.
  • Northern Business Division Book Scholarship: Is awarded annually to a business student in their sophomore year only.
  • General tuition and book scholarships: All are welcome to apply.

Internships

Business is more competitive than ever before. People running businesses will be judged by how well they manage change, stay ahead of trends and learn the latest theories. Northern's Business Division programs can train you in the many skills required to manage a variety of businesses and internships provide the opportunity to practice those skills while earning college credits.  Contact the Business Division or Counseling Office for more information on how to jumpstart your career.
