What is . . . Fine Arts Friday?
Northern Oklahoma College invites all high school juniors and seniors, parents, and sponsors to Fine Arts Friday on the Tonkawa campus each spring to experience the Arts. Registration begins at 10 a.m. in the Kinzer Performing Arts Center lobby with an educational and fun-filled day to follow! You will find the Arts are alive at Northern as you are introduced to our quality and affordable Fine Arts programs.
You are encouraged to participate in campus tours and scholarship opportunities. Scholarships are offered for each of our Associate in Arts degree programs: Visual Arts, Music, Music Theatre, Theatre, and Associate in Applied Science degree: Digital Media Animation and Design. All visitors will enjoy lunch with current Fine Arts students and faculty in the Maverick Cafeteria. Activities throughout the day include presentations by the Roustabouts and musical department as well as tours of the Art Department and Digital Media Institute. Visual arts experiences will feature a viewing of the current exhibit in the Eleanor Hays Art Gallery.
You are encouraged to present your talents in audition or portfolio form for scholarship opportunities.
