Welcome!

At Northern, we want to serve those who have served us! Whether you are interested in starting or continuing your educational degree, Northern Oklahoma College has a program that will work for you when and where you need it. We have a variety of delivery methods, locations, and services to choose from that works best with your learning environment and schedule. Another benefit is that military personnel and their families stationed in Oklahoma get a special tuition adjustment, so you can attend NOC at the in-state tuition rate.

We hope that this website and its features will help our students that are veterans or dependents of veterans to navigate the sometimes confusing area of GI Bill benefits. 

 

There are important forms and links you can access by clicking on the appropriate links. These include applications for benefits, forms to change your major program or school, the Veterans Advisory Form, among others.  Feel free to download or print these as many times as you like.

 

The links are to VA pages and other pages that we hope will be useful to you.  We have included a link to WAVE, the monthly verification website for veterans.  There are links to more information on each chapter of GI Bill benefits as well.

 

There is also a link for information on over-payments and debt management.  This information tells you how you can avoid getting an over-payment from the VA that you have to will have to pay back out of future benefit payments.

If you are a veteran who is struggling with issues like homelessness, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, post-traumatic stress, reintegrating into civilian life, relationship issues, or any other physical or mental health issues, reach out to the Veterans Crisis Line.  The Veterans Crisis Line is staffed 24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 days a year by specially trained professionals, many of whom are veterans themselves.

If you aren't a veteran, but are concerned about a veteran that is important to you, you can encourage them to contact the Veterans Crisis Line or you can call yourself to see what you can do to help them.
