2016-17 Season

Head Coach: Juan de Dios Castillo

Coach Castillo's philosophy towards soccer brings a proven, successful style of “attacking” futbol to the field.  He has lived his entire life as part of a professional soccer family, as a son to Juan de Dios Castillo Gonzalez who played professionally for many clubs in Mexico and for the Mexican National team, and also had a long career as a coach for many, many professional clubs all across Mexico and Central America as well as the national team head coach for 3 different countries.

This great bank of soccer knowledge is where Coach Castillo draws the building blocks of his philosophy for soccer. Having played at a high level himself, as a member of the U20 Mexican National team, and also as a player of various teams in the Mexican professional league, he has acquired a unique and diverse knowledge of how the game is played.  This knowledge, coupled with the experience gained in continued learning and teaching of the game as a member of the coaching staffs and as an apprentice coach and observer, for many professional soccer clubs, is where he draws the basis for his philosophy of play.
